We are now looking for an engaged dental hygienist who wants to make a difference

Main responsibilities and tasks

At Folktandvården Tuve, you meet patients of all ages with various healthcare needs. As a dental hygienist with us, you play a vital role in ensuring that patients feel well-received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of competencies, while the role also requires creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset. Folktandvården Tuve actively works with collaboration, engagement, and joy. You will become part of a clinic that provides care with a strong team spirit and where opportunities for development are abundant.

The position includes, among other things:

• Being a key part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages
• Conducting own examinations, as well as identifying, assessing, and planning appropriate oral health care interventions
• Collaboration with various professional categories is an important part of the role

Competency requirements and profile

• Licensed dental hygienist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an efficient and smart manner
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening and empathetic way
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during the first year. The supervision is part of our development program, which also includes networking meetings, team and communication training, as well as observation at a specialist or general dental clinic.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed by us, you will be contacted by recruiters from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select applicants and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 25-26.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and burden registers before employment.
