We are now looking for a team player dentist who wants to make a difference!

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Centrum Borås, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dentist with us, you play a vital role in ensuring that patients feel well-received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of competencies, while the role also requires creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.

The position includes, among other things:

• Working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room
• Performing both simple examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as emergency dental care
• Serving as the team's specialist in oral diagnostics.

We are also an emergency clinic that receives acute patients daily, as well as a resource clinic for nitrous oxide and pediatric dentistry, meaning we receive referrals from neighboring clinics. Additionally, we have the privilege of having a health promoter who works preventively for our children. We are a clinical training site (VFU) and receive students from the dental hygienist programs at the University of Gothenburg.

Competency requirements and profile

• Licensed dentist; we prefer that you have a few years of practical experience
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
• Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently and wisely
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening manner
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

About the recruitment process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager selects candidates and invites them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 27.

If you, as an applicant, have education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, it may become relevant to complete theoretical and clinical work tests as part of the recruitment process.
