We are now looking for an engaged dental hygienist who wants to make a difference

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Maria Albert, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dental hygienist with us, you play a key role in ensuring that patients feel well-received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of competencies, while the role also demands creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.

The position includes, among other things:

• Being a vital part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages.
• Conducting own examinations, as well as identifying, assessing, and planning appropriate oral health care measures. We value variety in work, alternating between clinical work and digital visits according to preference.
• Mentoring VFU (clinical training) students one day a week during the spring semester.
• We work according to the 30/10 model: 30 hours of clinical time per week on a full-time position, with 10 hours dedicated to administration.

Competency requirements and profile

• Licensed dental hygienist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school level or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when workload is high
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a listening manner
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring is part of our development program, which also includes networking meetings, team and communication training, as well as observation at specialist or general dental clinics.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed by us, you will be contacted by recruiters from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period closes, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 23-24.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in the crime register and background checks before employment.
