We are now looking for an independent dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and patient care

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Pedagogen Park, you will meet patients of all ages with various healthcare needs. As a dental nurse with us, you play a vital role in ensuring patients feel well-cared for and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of skills, and the role also requires creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.

The position includes, among other things:

• Assisting with examinations and treatments
• Working with own patients during prophylaxis treatments, introductions, oral health advice, or adaptation treatments
• Working in the sterile area and potentially at the reception.

Competency requirements and profile

• Trained dental nurse with education accredited by MYH (Swedish Authority for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Independently handle administration
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when busy
• Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a listening manner
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during your first period. The supervision program is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed by us, you will be contacted by recruiters from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in the suspicion and criminal registers before employment.
