We are looking for an engaged dental nurse at Folktandvården Orust!

We are currently looking for a dental nurse who wants to be an important part of our team at Folktandvården Orust. With us, you get more than a job – you get a workplace where community, development, and patient focus are at the center.

Main tasks and responsibilities

At our modern clinic in the heart of Henån, you meet patients of all ages with varying care needs. Here, you play a central role as a dental nurse to create a positive experience for every patient.

We offer a varied job where you will:

• Assist with examinations and treatments
• Work independently with prophylaxis, oral health advice, acclimatization, and orientation
• Be an important part of the team in the sterilization room and reception
• Participate in the FRAM project in schools

You will work together with engaged colleagues in a work environment characterized by collaboration, openness, and curiosity. We like to think new and would love for you to contribute ideas to develop our operations!

We are located in bright and fresh premises in a centrally located clinic with easy access to public transport and free parking. The clinic has 7 treatment rooms and a tight-knit team of 20 employees, where dentists, dental hygienists, and dental nurses work closely together.

We are also a VFU (clinical training) clinic and regularly receive students from dentistry, dental hygiene, and dental nursing programs.

Competency requirements and profile

• Trained dental nurse with an education accredited by MYH (Swedish Authority for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Ability to independently handle administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and smart way
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening manner
• A desire to contribute to the development of the operation through active participation in the clinic's improvement work

Experience is meritorious – but if you are new to the profession, we support you with an individual introduction program, which is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed by us, you will be contacted by recruiters from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager selects applicants and invites them to an interview at the clinic. These interviews are planned for weeks 26-27.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and burden registers before employment.
