We are now looking for an independent dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a welcoming attitude!

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

At Folktandvården Skärhamn, we work in a positive atmosphere where teamwork and business development are natural elements. We find challenges and innovative thinking exciting and strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work.

Folktandvården Skärhamn has 10 treatment rooms. Today, 6 dentists, 3 dental hygienists, 9 dental nurses, and 1 receptionist work here. In total, we are 21 employees.

Some of your tasks will include:

• Assisting dentists or dental hygienists during patient treatments and managing sterile work.
• Administrative tasks related to patient records in the T4 dental system and invitations.
• Handling "list care" and reception duties are included in the role.
• You will have your own area of responsibility for certain administrative and/or clinical tasks that you plan and execute independently.

Competency Requirements and Profile

• Trained dental nurse with education from MYH (Swedish Agency for Higher Vocational Education).
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Ability to independently handle administration.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and smart manner.
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do.
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening and empathetic way.
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during your first period. The supervision program is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental nurses.

About the Recruitment Process

Those who are not already employed by us will be contacted by recruiters from the HR department for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for week 26.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in the suspicion and criminal registers before employment.
