We are now looking for a physiotherapist for a fixed-term project position until December 2026, focusing on the implementation of physical activity and Physical Activity on Prescription (FaR) within psychiatry.

About the project: There is a gap between evidence and clinical practice regarding physical activity in psychiatry. The project aims to increase the use of counseling on physical activity combined with written prescription (FaR) and to strengthen patients' adherence to prescribed activity.

Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist, you will be part of the central project group at CPF and work closely with psychiatric operations in Region Stockholm. You will contribute to the development and implementation of psychiatry-adapted routines for counseling, FaR, and follow-up, and support local teams at several psychiatric clinics. The work also includes participation in educational initiatives, creation of support materials, development of structures for documentation and follow-up, as well as collaboration with external actors and support efforts for patients. The position may be shared between CPF and clinical work in a psychiatric operation, with the workload distributed between these.

Qualifications

  • Licensed physiotherapist with an interest in physical activity and working within clinical psychiatric care.
  • Experience working in psychiatry, working with FaR, as well as implementation or improvement work is meritorious.

Personal qualities:

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You have a strong commitment to developing care and an interest in working with implementation in clinical operations. You are receptive, have good communication skills, and teamwork abilities.

Conditions

Full-time project employment until 2026-12-31. If funding is extended, there is an opportunity for extension.

The position is subject to the condition that it does not need to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

In patient-oriented work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
