Are you ready to take on a key role in Sweden's aviation infrastructure? LFV is now looking for a Systems Engineer for Visby Airport, where you will work with advanced radio and communication systems that ensure safe and efficient air traffic.

Here, you will become part of an engaged team with a strong technical interest, where operational safety, quality, and reliability are at the core. The position is based in Visby and also involves field work at nearby facilities.

Your Responsibilities

As a Systems Engineer, you play a crucial role in ensuring the operational safety of LFV's communication systems. Your main tasks include:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of radio and communication systems.
• Planning, documentation, and execution of supervision on critical systems.
• Operations, troubleshooting, and participation in various development projects.

The role may require on-call duties and overnight stays. There is also an opportunity to specialize in areas such as navigation systems, meteorological equipment, IP networks, and radar systems, for which LFV provides necessary training and certification.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who have a genuine technical interest and thrive on analyzing, troubleshooting, and solving complex technical problems. You are structured, meticulous, and accustomed to working independently based on technical documentation. Proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, is required.

Requirements:

• Technical basic education at least at the upper secondary school level.
• Category B driver's license for manual transmission.
• High safety awareness and ability to follow established procedures.

Merits:

• Experience with radio, airport, or aviation systems.
• Operations and maintenance experience from technical environments (e.g., data centers).
• Knowledge in backup power, UPS, radio technology, or analog/digital electronics.
• Experience working at heights or in masts.

About LFV and the Position

LFV is Sweden's leading provider of air traffic control for civil and military aviation. We guide approximately 2,000 aircraft daily in Swedish airspace and drive digitalization across several areas. This is a permanent position based in Visby.

Before employment, you will undergo a security clearance process including register checks, a security interview, and a drug test. Swedish citizenship is required for this position.
