IT Infrastructure is a unit consisting of 22 experienced technicians who manage the entire Region Gotland infrastructure for servers, storage, backup, network, security, etc. You will join a well-functioning team where all employees work towards the same goal: delivering high availability and high security.

Your responsibilities

Do you want to be part of the work ensuring that Region Gotland maintains high availability and high security?

As a Network Technician – Security, you will work with a mix of network-related operational issues, IT security, emergency preparedness, and monitoring via our EDR services. Managing supplier contacts and staying up-to-date with current and upcoming product offerings and technologies are also part of your daily routine.

You collaborate with other colleagues within IT Infrastructure as well as other professions within the Digitalization Department.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have relevant post-secondary education and/or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways for the tasks. We consider the CCNP level to be a minimum, even though we also use manufacturers other than Cisco. We also expect you to have education in IT security.

We see that you have:

• CCNP education level or equivalent from another manufacturer, as well as education in IT security.
• Knowledge in the management and development of network solutions in complex IT environments.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We consider it an advantage if you are:

• Familiar with the ITIL framework.
• Familiar with agile working methods.

You have a pronounced ability to collaborate and inspire your surroundings. Your own drive and engagement ensure that you always strive to achieve set goals, and you take initiative to realize them. Furthermore, you are communicative and pedagogical, meaning you can easily explain complex ideas and bring others along with your vision.
