IT Infrastructure is a unit consisting of 22 experienced technicians who manage all of Region Gotland's infrastructure for data centers, servers, storage, backup, networks, security, etc. You will join a well-functioning team where all employees work towards the same goal: delivering high availability and high security.
Your responsibilities
Do you want to be part of ensuring that Region Gotland has high availability and security? As a Delivery Manager, you are the central hub regarding the group's deliveries. Together with your closest manager, other delivery managers, IT architects, system specialists, object managers, and project managers, you will plan, follow up on, and drive the group's long-term deliveries.
In your role, you have an important operational function. You ensure that technical resources are available for daily operations, both in the short and long term. Within your delivery area, you lead, coach, and delegate tasks, enabling your team to work towards the same goals. You communicate and collaborate daily with various groups, both technical and non-technical.
The role also involves developing methodologies, tools, processes, and routines for internal working methods. Additionally, the role includes vendor management, i.e., setting requirements and monitoring service levels with external vendors, as well as participating in procurement processes. You also work operationally with daily operational issues.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have relevant post-secondary education for the tasks and/or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways.
We see that you have previously worked in leadership roles such as team leader, scrum master, project manager, or similar, within a larger IT organization or with an IT vendor.
We see that you have the following experience:
- Experience in leading others towards set goals.
- Experience in managing and developing server solutions in complex IT environments.
- Well-versed in the ITIL framework.
- Well-versed in agile working methods.
- Experience in contract management and cost monitoring.
- Experience in procurement, preferably within LOU (Swedish Public Procurement Act).
- Very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
You are comfortable in the role of a leader without formally being a manager. Since you will lead technicians within server/storage, own deep knowledge in the area is a requirement.
You are a natural leader with a strong ability to collaborate and inspire your team. Your own drive and engagement mean that you always strive to achieve the set goals, and you take initiative to realize them. Furthermore, you are communicative and pedagogical, meaning you can easily explain complex ideas and get others on board with your visions.
Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
