Become part of our team

You will become part of an engaged team within production development characterized by collaboration, short decision-making paths, and an open climate. In this role, you will work closely with production, quality, purchasing, design, and maintenance, and report to the Head of Production Development. Your assignment

As a Production Engineer, you are responsible for the industrialization and development of our production processes within turning. You will work both operationally close to production and strategically with improvements and optimization.

Your main tasks:

  • Preparation, simulation, and CAM programming of products
  • Industrialization of new products
  • Optimization of production flows, cycle times, and resource utilization
  • Drive and participate in investments in machines, fixtures, and equipment
  • Cost calculation and scheduling
  • Production technical documentation and standardization
  • Technical support to production to ensure stable and predictable flows
  • Improvement work related to quality, delivery, and efficiency

A large part of the role involves continuous improvements and product adaptations to ensure that the machine fleet is used optimally.

Your profile

You are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic environment where conditions can change quickly. You communicate well and collaborate effectively with different functions in production.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in production engineering work within the manufacturing industry
  • Good understanding of different production methods
  • Experience in machining
  • Experience working in cross-functional projects
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We would prefer that you have an engineering degree with a focus on production, but it is not a requirement.

Location and travel

The position is located in Kalmar. Occasional travel may occur.
