The Education Administration is responsible for all activities within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, after-school centers, upper secondary schools, and adult education.
Ekillaskolan is a grades 7–9 school in Märsta where we emphasize every student's right to receive instruction at a level adapted to them. Here, knowledge, collaboration, and student development are at the center. Through dedicated staff and a shared focus on learning, we create good conditions for every student to succeed, grow, and develop according to their own needs and prerequisites.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In Sigtuna Municipality, sports and health are important. As a PE teacher in Sigtuna Municipality and at Ekillaskolan, you are never alone but part of a fine subject group where several PE teachers collaborate to ensure our students achieve the best results. The municipality has a joint initiative to ensure all students can swim, so it is important that your swimming teacher training is up to date.
The position will also involve mentorship.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in Physical Education and Health with qualifications for grades 7–9. It is meritorious if you also have certification in an additional subject.
You are expected to work based on relational leadership, where you take initiative in social contexts, are confident in stepping forward, and easily create and maintain good relationships with students and colleagues.
We would like you to be solution-focused and have the ability to quickly adapt to changed conditions and find constructive solutions to challenges and problems that arise. Furthermore, you are result-oriented and goal-driven. You set high goals for your work and drive it forward with engagement, structure, and ambition to achieve good results. To thrive with us, you are driven by being an important part of a development process.
The position is a temporary substitute role and may be extended if necessary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months.
