About the Job
As an occupational therapist at Närhälsan Rehabilitation Clinic, you work with a wide variety of patients of all ages, giving you excellent opportunities to develop professionally. The work consists of both clinic visits, home visits, and digital consultations.
As a new employee, you will be assigned a mentor who will introduce you to the role. Common conditions among the patients you meet as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, stress-related issues, and mental health challenges. The work also includes prescribing assistive devices and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is created. Working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours.
The job involves close collaboration with other professions, both within your own unit and at other agencies. We collaborate closely with Närhälsan's rehabilitation clinics in Svenljunga and Tranemo, and the position includes covering these clinics in case of acute and/or planned absence. You and your colleagues, together with the manager, are responsible for the development of the operations in a continuous improvement process.
About You
You are a licensed occupational therapist. If you have previous experience in outpatient care, it is an advantage, but we also welcome recent graduates.
We are looking for someone who wants to take on the challenge of working independently, organizing and planning your work effectively based on set goals. You can handle an uneven workload and unforeseen events. Since you meet many different people in your work, it is important that you are accommodating and adapt your communication to the situation. For you, collaborating with colleagues and other partners in the work is second nature. You also share Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Thoughtful, and Innovative.

About the Recruitment Process
The selection process takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department, who invite candidates to a telephone interview. After the application period, the hiring manager makes a second selection of applicants and invites them to an interview at the clinic.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe concrete situations as much as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
