Södra Cell Mönsterås is now recruiting four process technicians for permanent positions in our production of the bioproduct lignin.

We are looking for new colleagues because we are launching and building a new department, which means you will join at a stage where much is new, developable, and where your technical interest truly makes a difference.

As a process technician in the lignin plant, you are responsible for the daily operation of the lignin facility. The work involves both active process monitoring and practical work out in the plant. You are a key part of ensuring that production maintains high quality and that the facility is operated safely and efficiently. You will be involved in developing working methods, routines, and stable operations in a modern and well-invested facility.

You will also be working with:

• operational optimization, control, and process monitoring in the control room
• performing preventive work and contributing to keeping the facility clean, safe, and reliable
• performing simple maintenance, lubrication, and troubleshooting
• collaborating closely with shift teams, process engineers, and the maintenance department to ensure stable and safe production

Since the department is in its startup phase, there are great opportunities to influence, learn new things, and grow in the role. We offer structured, on-the-job training together with onboarding coordinators and experienced colleagues.

The position is a full-time permanent employment, located in Mönsterås.

Requirements and Merits

• post-secondary education, such as YH (University College), or experience assessed as equivalent to YH is prioritized. Secondary education with a technical focus can also meet the requirement.
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Class B driver's license

Meritorious:

• experience in process technology or a process technology background
• background in maintenance, mechanics, or industrial improvement work
• Forklift license
