Job Description

At Bodal School, you will meet a dedicated staff group and a work environment where collaboration and participation are a natural part of everyday life. You will become part of a well-functioning student health team consisting of school nurses, special needs teachers, special educators, a counselor, and a study and career counselor. The team also receives regular supervision and support from a school psychologist and school doctor, creating good conditions for professional and successful student health work.

As a special needs teacher, you play a key role in creating good conditions for the learning and development of all students. You work both preventively and remedially, and contribute special pedagogical competence to the school's development work.

Your duties include among other things:

• Plan, implement, and follow up on special pedagogical interventions for students individually and in groups.
• Map, analyze, and assess students' needs for support.
• Design, implement, and follow up on action plans and extra adjustments.
• Mentor and support teachers in working with accessible learning environments and inclusive education.
• Collaborate with guardians, educators, and the various professions within the student health service.
• Actively participate in the school's student health work and contribute to the school's continued development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with a special needs teacher degree. You have a good ability to build trusting relationships and see collaboration as a natural part of your work. You are engaged, solution-focused, and have a genuine interest in supporting students in their knowledge development.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.

The municipality applies individual salary setting. Two positions on temporary contracts with access in August 2026. One vacancy is for the school year 26/27, and one until January 2028.
