Anna Whitlocks Gymnasium is the city's largest upper secondary school with approximately 2,200 students. Our premises are located at Hantverkargatan 29, near the City Hall. The school started in August 2018 and offers the university-preparatory programs ES, EK, NA, SA, and TE, with eleven different specializations/profiles, three of which – Design, Life Science, and Global Development – are available across several programs.

Job Description

As an IT Coordinator at Anna Whitlocks Gymnasium, you work with support and coordination of the school's IT environment in close contact with students, staff, suppliers, and the Education Administration's IT organization.

You are responsible for the school's IT helpdesk, which is staffed during school hours. The work includes, among other things, assistance with login problems, password changes, troubleshooting, software support, as well as logistics regarding computer repairs and technical equipment.

The role also includes service and troubleshooting of the school's AV equipment, such as projectors, sound systems, and speakers in classrooms and common areas. You are also responsible for the school's internal TV screens and digital information systems, which includes publishing content and ongoing maintenance.

You also work with the operation and maintenance of various technical environments and equipment in the operations, and contribute to finding solutions to ensure technical equipment functions within the school's IT environment.

You are expected to maintain dialogue and handle fault reports with the school's IT suppliers, as well as have ongoing contact with the Education Administration's IT department regarding matters concerning operation, support, and deliveries.

Furthermore, you participate in larger technical projects, such as hardware deliveries, re-installations, and rollout of new hardware and software.

Your Competence and Experience

We would like you to have relevant education in IT or equivalent experience assessed by the employer as equivalent.

It is an advantage if you have experience of IT management within Stockholm City and knowledge of the city's IT systems. Experience in hardware management, computer logistics, and technical rollouts is also considered an advantage.

In the event of any surplus within the Education Administration, the position may be utilized.
