Äppelviksskolan is a municipal primary school in Bromma with approximately 530 students in grades 7–9. At the school, both students and staff thrive, and there are high expectations for good results from all parties. We assume that you, as an applicant, enjoy working with teenagers in an environment where you constantly interact with students, guardians, and colleagues. The school has two work teams that meet every week, where the work with student health and safety plays a clear and prominent role. The school also has a pedagogical leadership group that leads the pedagogical development work.

We have a well-functioning student health team and safety team that work both preventively and remedially with students to help them achieve the school's goals.

Your role

Äppelviksskolan is looking for a Physical Education (PE) teacher to teach grades 7–9. You are passionate about teaching and put the students at the center. You have a positive and professional attitude, are creative, flexible, and have clear leadership skills in your interaction with students. You can see the different needs of students and, with good pedagogical insight, support them in reaching as far as possible. You will be part of a subject group where you collaborate with other colleagues on assessment, student health, various projects, and sports days.

This is a temporary position. The position may be taken over by surplus staff in the city.

Your qualifications and experience

You must have a teaching license in Physical Education.
