As a nurse at Aspgården's nursing home, you will have a central role in creating safe and quality care for our elderly. You work closely with care staff, rehabilitation personnel, and other nursing colleagues, which creates good conditions for collaboration and a holistic view in care.

Job Description

As a nurse with us, you are responsible for health and medical care interventions for the residents at Aspgården. You work from a person-centered approach and ensure that every individual receives good and safe care.

Your duties include among other things:

• Assessment, planning, and follow-up of medical interventions
• Medication management
• Collaboration with care staff, doctors, and other professions
• Documentation according to current legislation
• Supervision and support for nursing staff
• Participation in quality and improvement work

In the role, you encounter both planned and acute situations, which requires flexibility, independence, and good collaboration skills.

Aspgården's operations include 23 places distributed over 17 special housing places and the remainder for short-term care and respite care.

During on-call times, you will have some weekend work within home health care, which is currently every 6th weekend on average.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to work independently and make own decisions
• Driver's license category B

Meritorious:

• Experience working in elderly care or municipal health care
• Experience with the documentation system Lifecare
• Specialized education in relevant area
