Job Information

TGW delivers high-tech automation solutions for intralogistics. As a Team Leader, you will be part of the launch of TGW's latest project in Sweden: ICA's new, fully automated cold storage facility in Hacksta, Västerås, scheduled to go into operation in February 2026. The warehouse covers approximately 23,000 square meters and includes, among other things, a 30-meter-high automated pallet warehouse with a dynamic shuttle system, fully automated packing stations, and energy-efficient conveyor belts for pallets, cartons, and parcels – all adapted for temperatures down to -25°C.

Responsibilities

In the role of Team Leader, you will among other things:

• Lead and coach the resident engineering team on-site
• Ensure that automation operates with high efficiency
• Perform reporting, monitor performance, and participate in customer meetings
• Conduct process audits and follow up on improvement measures
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance of automated equipment
• Handle escalations according to TGW's procedures
• Be a people-oriented leader with strong communication skills in Swedish and English
• Understand how production workflows function and be able to estimate the time required for various tasks

We are looking for you who

• Have a technical education (mandatory)
• Have experience in operational engineering work in similar environments
• Have experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
• Have general technical experience (automation, production, etc.)
• Have knowledge of Siemens S7, Profibus, CAN bus, Profinet, and ASI Bus
• Have a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems
• Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English
• Are flexible with shift work: Monday–Friday 06:00–22:00, plus one day on the weekend (Sat 06:00–14:00 or Sun 14:00–22:00)

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in intralogistics or automated warehousing solutions
• Experience working in complex automation or control systems
• Previous experience in coaching and training technicians
