Production Manager - Starka Concrete Products

Starka Concrete Products is now recruiting a Production Manager for the facility in Ängelholm. Here you will have a key role in a stable and well-regarded company that is at the forefront of retaining walls and ground improvements, which are used in civil engineering projects. The operations are characterized by high quality, sustainable production, and strong technical competence, where you will have the opportunity to influence both working methods and production results.

You will lead a skilled production team of approximately 12 people and become part of a tightly knit organization in Ängelholm. The culture here is characterized by short decision-making paths, a strong sense of team spirit, and a strong desire to help each other in everyday work.

Responsibilities

In the role of Production Manager, you are responsible for leading, planning, and developing the daily work in production with a focus on efficiency, quality, and a safe working environment. You have clear leadership responsibility where you create structure, engagement, and joy in work within the team, while ensuring that production meets set goals and key figures.

You work close to the operations and are a visible and present leader in production, where you coach, support, and develop your employees. The role entails overall responsibility for operations, personnel, and improvement work, where you actively drive the development of working methods, processes, and the team's competence. As Production Manager, you report to the CEO, Fredrik Johansson.

Your tasks as Production Manager:

• Lead, plan, and distribute the daily work in production and ensure efficient resource utilization and good progress
• Work operationally close to production as a visible and present leader who supports, coaches, and solves problems in daily work
• Ensure that production meets set goals regarding quality, delivery precision, and efficiency, as well as follow up on key figures and drive actions in case of deviations
• Lead pulse meetings and ensure that planning, priorities, routines, and safety regulations are followed
• Have full personnel responsibility including salary setting, development discussions, induction, as well as time and personnel administration
• Ensure stable operations through responsibility for production flows, maintenance, and a preventive approach
• Drive improvement and development work within production and collaborate with other functions to optimize the whole
• Handle administrative tasks such as approval of times and invoices, as well as work in business systems

Experience and Knowledge

• At least approx. 5 years of experience from the manufacturing industry
• Previous experience in a leadership role, such as team leader or foreman
• Good technical understanding and ability to read and interpret drawings
• Experience working with production control, follow-up of key figures, and improvement work
• Familiarity with business systems, preferably Dynamics 365, and good knowledge of the Office suite
• Strong administrative ability with experience in both personnel and production administration
