Nurse in Municipal Primary Care – Do You Want to Make a Difference Every Day?

Do you want to work close to the patient and contribute to safe and high-quality care in people's daily lives? We are now looking for registered nurses for our municipal primary care – a operation where you make a real difference.

About the Role

As a nurse in municipal primary care, you work independently and in teams to provide qualified health and medical care in the patient's home or in specialized housing. You meet patients of all ages with varying needs, offering a broad and stimulating role.

The work includes, among other things:

• Assessment, planning, and follow-up of care interventions
• Medication management and medical treatments
• Collaboration with doctors, rehabilitation staff, and care personnel
• Mentoring and support for care staff
• Participating in the development of close care work
• Documentation according to current legislation

The work schedule is primarily during daytime hours, with two weekends every ten weeks.

Responsibilities

• Standard tasks within home healthcare.
• Work independently and in teams with assessment and interventions.
• Perform medical procedures.
• Delegate and mentor care staff.
• Work in close collaboration with care staff, unit managers, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a registered nurse
• Are confident in your role as a nurse
• Have good ability to work independently and make decisions
• Have a structured approach and can prioritize in a varied workday
• Have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive team climate

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in municipal healthcare or primary care
• Specialist education in a relevant area
• A B-class driver's license

Personal suitability is highly valued.

Administrative Information:

For positions requiring a license/valid certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare for a protected professional title, this must be submitted before employment. Language assessment is conducted for certain professional groups before employment can become relevant. Criminal record checks are conducted for all employments within the social services administration. For employments within HVB (home for care or care in home) operations, the HVB extract is requested. For employments within operations targeting children with disabilities, the extract for children with disabilities and control of own information are requested. For other employments within the social services administration, the Control of Own Information extract is requested.

Employment is subject to necessary decisions being made.
