Järfälla Gymnasium has over a thousand students distributed across two campuses in Barkarby and Jakobsberg. Here you will find university-preparatory programs, vocational programs, introductory programs, as well as a adapted high school.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role currently involves teaching mathematics and acting as a mentor for the high school's introductory program at the Jakobsberg campus, Järfälla Gymnasium.

Together with your program team and subject group, you will develop teaching and collaboration within and between subjects. You enjoy working with people and are a skilled relationship builder who fosters good team spirit.

As a mentor, you will be responsible for monitoring academic results, attendance, and the social situation of your students. The mentorship involves supporting the student, guardians, relevant teachers, and the school's student health team to create a school situation that enables students to reach as far as possible in their learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

Since the teaching may be at both the lower secondary and upper secondary levels, we require that you have both these qualifications and competencies. Additionally, you must be licensed in at least one other subject.

You are engaged and knowledgeable in your subjects and are a skilled pedagogue who enjoys challenges and wants to work in a program team with engaged and professional teachers. You are confident in your role as a teacher and can inspire and motivate, while working with the program team to develop operations so that all students can reach their goals. You work formatively and actively for inclusion and accessibility to learning based on students' needs and prerequisites. You are cooperative, receptive, driven, and structured. You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
