The Leisure and Culture Office is responsible for Knivsta Municipality's operations within the Cultural School, Library, Youth Activities, General Culture, General Leisure Activities, and Sports and Leisure Facilities.

Job Description

In the role of Swimming and Sports Hall Staff Member, you are a key person for safety, service, and a welcoming attitude in the facility. You welcome visitors, manage the cash register and bookings, perform light cleaning and maintenance, and lead activities such as swimming lessons, group training, and gym introductions. You support events and are particularly important for developing our swimming instruction, both for children and adults, and contributing to increased water confidence.

About Us

The Health House aims to strengthen public health through a wide range of activities. By autumn, the team will consist of eight permanent employees, as well as a large group of hourly paid swimming instructors and trainers. You will report to the Manager of Sports and Leisure Facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a high school education and at least three years of experience working in swimming schools. Flexibility is important as working hours vary between day, evening, and weekend according to the schedule. You must be able to provide a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (criminal record check) and have fluent Swedish skills, both spoken and written. Experience in other training such as group training or gym instruction is meritorious.
