The speech and language therapy department at Skaraborg Hospital consists of a group of committed and development-oriented employees. Currently, our group includes 17 speech therapists and two medical secretaries. We have a structured way of working and an open climate that facilitates collegial learning and provides great opportunities to influence both ongoing operations and our development. The speech and language therapy service is geographically distributed across three locations and is located at the hospitals in Skövde, Lidköping, and Mariestad. Despite this geographical spread, we collaborate extensively between the clinics and meet occasionally for joint workplace meetings. The position will be based at the hospital in Skövde.

Since 2019, the clinic has been HBTQI+ certified.

About the position

We are looking for a licensed speech therapist for a 6-month temporary position. The role focuses on pediatric speech therapy, and the main tasks will involve assessing speech, language, and communication difficulties in school-aged children. The duties also include providing parental support interventions and collaborating with the child's school regarding assessment results. There is an opportunity for supervision by an experienced colleague.

Qualifications

You are a licensed speech therapist, preferably with experience in pediatric speech therapy.
