Schedevi Psychiatry is a privately owned company that has offered support, 24/7 care, and housing for adults with mental health variations and co-occurring disorders since 1942. We offer broad and individualized nursing care that includes personal care, social and physical training, as well as support in the client's individual development.

We work with low-arousal approaches in all our operations and strive to create calm, safe, and predictable environments for our clients.

Our operations in the West:

SoL Housing – Furubacken

Three units: Nursing, Rågvägen, and a short-term unit according to the Social Services Act.

LSS Housing

Two housing units with special services according to the LSS Act.

Job Responsibilities

Your main task is to provide support and nursing care in the clients' daily lives based on a structured and individualized implementation plan.

• Health
• Medication administration
• Rehabilitation
• Support during doctor visits
• Exercise and physical activity
• Social support
• Accompanying to activities
• Crafts, playing video games, bathing, walking
• Coffee breaks, weekly grocery shopping, baking, and other daily activities with clients
• Personal care
• Laundry
• Cooking
• Cleaning
• Support in personal hygiene

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who wants to work with adults who have significant disabilities resulting from psychiatric illness and who wants to make a real difference in other people's lives.

We prefer that you have education in nursing, child and youth care, or the recreational leader program.

It is meritorious if you have knowledge or experience in:

• Low-arousal approach
• Motivational Interviewing (MI)
• Pedagogical approach

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Good computer skills
• Extract from the police criminal record
• Driver's license (manual or automatic)

• During your employment, you will go through:
• Training in Durewall and basic self-defense
