About Us

Mini-Maria is an integrated outpatient clinic currently operating at several locations throughout the Västra Götaland Region. We serve young people up to the age of 21 who have drug and/or alcohol problems and/or gambling addiction, as well as their relatives. The main clinic is located in Mölndal, with satellite clinics in Ale, Alingsås, Kungälv, and Lilla Edet.

Our mission is to provide an accessible clinic where young people and their relatives can come, either on their own initiative or by referral, to receive advice, support, and treatment. This accessibility allows us to intervene early with the necessary measures for the young person and their family. We also have a mandate to work preventively and provide advice and support to other units and professions.

Our work is based on interdisciplinary teamwork where nurses, social workers, psychologists, and doctors work together. The clinics operate under shared responsibility between Regionhälsan and the municipalities. Medical staff are recruited via Regionhälsan, while psychosocial staff are recruited from the municipalities.

About the Role

As a nurse at Mini-Maria, we can offer you a varied and developmental role focused on young people and their relatives. Your duties will include assessment interviews, sample collection, health conversations, counseling, supportive and motivational interviewing, as well as family sessions. In addition, you will work with outward-facing initiatives alongside your team, such as information dissemination, collaboration with neighboring healthcare providers, and other authorities. You will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your competence and previous experience.

About You

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with a couple of years of experience. It is meritorious if you have further education in psychiatry and/or child and adolescent health. Experience working with young people/young adults or previous work in psychiatry or addiction care is also considered meritorious.

As a person, we are looking for someone with good collaboration skills, who is flexible, and capable of working both independently and in a team. You should also have an interest in contributing to the development of our operations.

Conditions

The work takes place primarily at the main clinic in Mölndal, but you will also work several days a week at one of the other clinics in Ale, Alingsås, Kungälv, or Lilla Edet.

Working hours are during the day, with one evening shift per week.

Selection will take place continuously during the application period. Interviews are scheduled for week 33.
