Are you our new Meal Assistant?

The Service Administration, which includes our meal organization, is in an exciting phase of development and construction. We are working to improve the quality and efficiency of our operations to meet today's and future requirements.

We are now looking for Meal Assistants for our pool.

Job Responsibilities

As a Meal Assistant, you are an important part of our operations, which include meal services in schools, preschools, elderly care, as well as service teams in production kitchens where you contribute to a good and safe dining experience for our guests. In this role, you will be part of a pool service, meaning you will be primarily placed at a suitable unit within the city. However, when vacancies arise elsewhere, you will travel there to replace the regular Meal Assistant/Cleaner when they are absent. The jobs will be located throughout Trollhättan Municipality, so no two days are the same, whether in terms of location or tasks. In some cases, you may replace employees who work part-time with cleaning duties in our schools and preschools.

Your duties include, among other things:

• Planning and preparation of breakfast, salad buffet, lunch, and snacks
• Handling of special diets
• Serving daily meals
• Orders via digital e-commerce
• Dishwashing and cleaning
• Creating a calm, pleasant, and safe dining environment together with colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Meal Assistant training or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent
• Good knowledge of special diets, food hygiene, and food science
• Basic computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license

Knowledge of cold main components is an advantage. The work is physically active and requires good physical fitness.
