About the Position

As a Psychiatric Nurse in Skara Municipality, you will work with people, young adults, and elderly individuals who need support and treatment for mental health issues. Your role is central in assessing and implementing care measures in close collaboration with colleagues within healthcare and social care, as well as other stakeholders.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Nursing assessments and the creation of individual care plans.

OAS Responsibilities

• Medication management and follow-up
• Training nursing staff
• Delegating and supervising nursing staff in day activities
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers, e.g., primary care, specialized psychiatry, and social services
• Cooperating with the group activities of the Relatives Support service

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a specialist nurse degree with a focus on psychiatric care or equivalent competence.
• Has experience working within psychiatric care.
• Is confident in your professional role and has a good ability to build trusting relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
• Has a genuine interest in mental health and a willingness to work from a person-centered approach.
• Is flexible, responsible, and has good collaboration skills.
