General Practitioner Specialist at Zätagränd Health Centre, Östersund

Do you want to become part of Region Jämtland Härjedalen – a region to look forward to and grow in? Here, you contribute to development and growth throughout the county and work to offer the best possible service, care, and support for everyone living in or visiting the region.

We offer a work environment characterized by collaboration, participation, and engagement, where both broad skills and specialized expertise are valued. Here, you have the opportunity to develop in your role, whether you are new to the profession or have extensive experience.

Primary care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under "Good and Close Care." Each local care area is an economic unit led by a business manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice service, youth clinic, and the local care ward Näva, all of which are grant-funded. Within the primary care area, there is a good research climate, and it holds the status of a university hospital unit. Our R&D unit can provide support and scientific supervision, primarily in collaboration with Umeå University.

At Zätagränd Health Centre, we are an engaged team with high morale, where we care for each other and work solution-focused towards common goals. We have approximately 13,550 registered patients and are a popular health centre located in central Östersund. Here, we work with district doctors, ST-doctors, AT-doctors, dietitians, diabetes and district nurses, assistant nurses, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, MVC, BVC, and rehabilitation coordinators. We are responsible for three special housing units and have a large family centre. We need to expand our staff with competent specialists in general medicine due to an increase in registered patients and retirements. For us, a good work environment and educational environment are of utmost importance. If you are interested in working with us, we try to take your wishes and interests into account. Do you enjoy supervision or home care? We find solutions together!

You will work with competent colleagues with long experience from many professions. We focus heavily on work environment and Close Care, and as part of this, we work with reduced patient lists. Instead of 1,600 patients per full-time doctor, you will be responsible for 1,250 patients if you work full-time without side duties. If you have side duties or work part-time, your caseload is reduced, meaning we have a registration cap. Our district nurses also have area responsibility, meaning you will work in close collaboration. We have stable professional groups at Zätagränd where innovative thinking is mixed with experience, and teamwork is highly valued. Here, you will find the competence required within each profession in the multimodal team driven by our rehabilitation coordinator.

What are you waiting for? Take the chance and submit your application. Warmly welcome!
