Consultant Nurse Needed for Neurology Ward – Long-term Autumn Assignment

Are you a registered nurse with a keen interest in neurology and advanced medical care?

We are currently seeking experienced registered nurses for a long-term consultancy assignment within neurological inpatient care during autumn 2026.

About the Assignment

You will work on a neurological ward where patients with various neurological conditions are treated. The department is characterized by a strong medical focus, close teamwork, and dynamic patient flows.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Nursing care and monitoring of neurological patients
• Medication management
• Documentation and clinical patient assessments
• Close collaboration with doctors and other healthcare professionals
• Planning and follow-up of patient care

The role requires a structured approach, strong prioritization skills, and confidence in making independent assessments.

Work Environment

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, healthcare assistants, doctors, and other care professionals, with the patient's needs always at the center.

The department provides 24/7 care with varying shifts according to a scheduled roster.

Period & Scope

• Period: Week 36–44
• Scope: Approximately 1,303 hours
• Working hours: Day, evening, night, and weekends according to schedule

We are looking for someone who

• Is a registered nurse
• Has experience from inpatient care or neurological wards
• Is confident in making independent assessments and prioritizations
• Has good collaboration skills and works in a structured manner
• Thrives in an environment with a high medical focus

Meritorious:

• Experience in neurology or stroke care
• Experience in emergency care
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems in inpatient care

Requirements for Presentation

The following documents must be available for presentation to the client:

• Updated CV
• Valid certification for Adult CPR (HLR)
• Two current references from your most recent assignment or employment
