Stålhamraskolan is a primary school (grades F-6) with approximately 290 students and has two classes in each grade. The adapted primary school, which includes students studying subjects and subject areas, has a student body of approximately 50 students, where both teachers and assistants work with the children. Stålhamraskolan also has a municipality-wide special education group and students following a Finnish profile. We operate in a multicultural environment and have the privilege of working with people from many different countries. This gives the school enormous dynamism. We work for a safe school environment during lessons, breaks, and after-school hours. EHT works to provide the support and help needed at both the individual and group levels. We are now looking for a physical education teacher at 50% for our adapted primary school. If you are a teacher for after-school centers (fritidshem) with a focus on physical education, there is an opportunity for a full-time position.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the subject of Physical Education and Health, as well as motor skills, together with other teachers for students studying subject areas and those studying specific subjects. You understand the importance of teaching being creative and stimulating, while also being grounded in research and proven methods. You plan, organize, and conduct teaching individually and together with your colleagues. You are flexible, have good collaboration skills, and a willingness to work together with other staff to ensure students reach their full potential. Together with the teachers and student assistants, you create a work environment in both classrooms, the gym, and outdoor areas characterized by safety, trust, and respect. If you are a teacher for after-school centers, you will also participate in after-school activities and develop this operations together with students and colleagues.

Teachers in the adapted primary school are part of a work team where you, together with your colleagues, plan, teach, supervise, and document based on the curriculum.

You organize and lead lessons which are adapted for students within IF (Individualized Education Program) and the autism spectrum to provide good conditions for learning. You collaborate closely with colleagues regarding teaching and planning of operations. Student assistants will participate as support in your teaching.

Requirements:

• You are a licensed teacher in Physical Education.
• You have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
