We provide high-quality home care services and work to ensure our users feel safe and satisfied. Most of our users are over 65 years old and live in their own homes, where we provide support based on individual needs so they can continue living there as long as they wish and are able to.

The department consists of home care services and the preventive unit. The different units within the department are based in Sollebrunn, Hagagården, Lärkvägen, and the City Center.

Job Responsibilities

Working in home care services means a varied and changing workday. You meet different people, work in varying home environments, and perform diverse tasks based on the user's individual needs. The job involves moving between users, resulting in a workday where no two days are exactly alike. In home care, you plan and carry out many tasks independently, which provides both independence and responsibility.

As a nursing assistant or nurse aide in home care, our common focus is that the individual should feel safe, well-being, and have the opportunity to live a dignified life. We work from a salutogenic perspective and approach, which means individually adapted care with the elderly person in focus.

Work as a Nurse Aide (Undersköterska):

As a nurse aide, you work with care measures and have delegation for health and medical care interventions. You are responsible, among other things, as a contact person, document according to current legislation in our digital systems, and create and follow up on implementation plans. The role may also involve individual areas of responsibility, supervision duties, mentoring, and participation in the development of operations.

You also perform all tasks included in the role of a nursing assistant or assistant, including various service interventions.

Work as a Nursing Assistant (Vårdbiträde):

As a nursing assistant, you work with care measures and may receive delegation for certain health and medical care interventions. You may also have specific areas of responsibility. Unlike the nurse aide, the nursing assistant does not have supervisory responsibility and does not create implementation plans. You perform all tasks included in the role of an assistant.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are trained as a nurse aide with a protected professional title (1,500 upper secondary school credits or upper secondary school diploma), or trained as a nursing assistant (800 upper secondary school credits).

Meritorious:

• Experience from home care services or other operations within elderly care
• Category B driver's license

As a person, you are empathetic and enjoy strengthening other people in their daily lives so they feel well. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
