Delivery Planner in Construction

We are looking for you who are passionate about logistics planning in construction projects and want to be where the action is – real construction logistics. Together with the rest of the team at Svensk Bygglogistik, you will optimize the client's construction production and create the best possible logistical conditions. This is a role for you who enjoy structure, planning, and communication.

Responsibilities:

As a delivery planner, you are a central part of the project's logistics organization. You ensure daily logistics planning for the construction site with the goal of minimizing obstacles and creating a planned production with high efficiency.

Examples of tasks include:

• Ensuring that surfaces, transport routes, and unloading areas remain clear and accessible.
• Administering and working in the delivery and resource planning system LogNet, including:
  • Planning deliveries and booking resources such as forklifts, cranes, and other lifting equipment.
  • Reviewing applications for new users.
  • Planning and calling for unloading resources.
• Conducting rounds, re-surveys, and inspection of transport routes prior to upcoming deliveries.
• Holding daily morning meetings with staff/drivers regarding resources.
• Participating in the project's APD (Construction Logistics Plan) and logistics meetings.
• Creating internal APD plans and placement drawings.

The role involves a high degree of presence on the production floor, where you actively dialogue with trade groups and contractors to ensure that logistics function in practice.

Qualifications:

We are looking for you who have a relevant post-secondary education or work experience within logistics, transport, or construction. You have likely worked in large construction projects and have a good understanding of the often complex flows and processes of construction production.

You work carefully, structured, and methodically, and have the ability to get others to follow established plans. You are accustomed to working in various systems and feel comfortable in a digital work environment.

Furthermore, you have very good communication skills and thrive in a role with many contact points and collaborations across different trade groups. You are service-oriented but at the same time clear and confident in your requirements. You take initiative, are solution-oriented, and are quick to reprioritize when the situation demands it.

Other Information:

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period, full-time with immediate start. The employment requires law-abiding conduct.

The position is based at the workplace five days a week, 7 AM – 4 PM. There is also the possibility of a more flexible setup if you live elsewhere, where you work on-site four days a week and one day remotely. In this setup, we cover travel costs and accommodation.
