Here you will play a key role in our unique learning environment, The Oasis – a specially equipped and thoughtfully designed classroom where students in need of support get the chance to develop in a smaller, safer context. Together with a close-knit and cooperative special educational needs team, you create the best conditions for student progress through both scheduled interventions and drop-in support. Your Role

🌟 As a special needs teacher with us, you will become part of an engaged team consisting of dedicated colleagues. Every day we do our best to ensure that all students reach their full potential. You lead the work with a warm and clear hand, and your leadership is characterized by presence, adaptation, and inclusion.

🌟 Your main responsibility is to support students in grades 4–9 in mathematics, as well as in other subjects in close collaboration with the school's subject teachers. You meet the students where they are – which can mean everything from pure skills training to support in planning and organizing schoolwork. Of course, you are open to both giving and receiving feedback on your work, and you constantly strive to develop professionally.

🌟 In this role, you act as an important link between student and teacher, and you participate in EHT (Student Health Team) meetings when needed. The work takes place partly in the classrooms, but primarily in our unique and stimulating learning studio called The Oasis.

Qualifications

• ✔ You are educated as a special needs teacher and/or special educator.
• ✔ Swedish teaching license (with relevant qualifications).
• ✔ Experience from working as a teacher or special needs teacher.
• ✔ Knowledge of reading and writing difficulties and dyslexia. (meritorious)
• ✔ Experience in conducting pedagogical assessments and writing action plans. (meritorious)

• ✔ A natural leader with the ability to create structure, calm, and clarity in the learning environment.
• ✔ Friendly and empathetic, with an easy ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

Conditions

• Employment type: Permanent. Probation period applies.

• Full-time: 100% (We are open to a part-time position of 80% if that suits your preferences better.)

• Start date: August 6, 2026, or as agreed.
