The Role of Nursing Assistant with Us

In the job, you provide good care and social support based on the resident's needs during night hours. Your work also includes social documentation and various health and medical care tasks. In our work, we base ourselves on our common values and workplace culture; we deliver, we collaborate, we do new things, and we welcome. We work qualitatively and goal-oriented with BPSD registers and other methods that promote a person-centered approach where care and support take place safely and securely based on the individual's needs and wishes. You are expected to perform delegated health and medical care tasks based on your position and the organization's needs.

Your Profile

As a person, you enjoy working in a team and find it easy to meet and collaborate with other people. You are confident in your professional role and have a professional attitude towards residents and colleagues. You are used to working flexibly and quickly adapting to new situations. Furthermore, you like to learn new things and participate actively and engaged in the development of the organization. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is trained as a nursing assistant
• has good computer skills
• expresses yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience in medical interventions, experience working in a hospital, advanced delegation, or other experience that the employer deems equivalent

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent position with start date according to agreement. You will work according to a schedule set during night hours 21:50–06:50. The schedule will include working every third weekend.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department of Care & Support, all employees in home care and care and support housing are employed at 100% capacity, but employees have the opportunity to reduce to the desired capacity based on the organization's needs. At night, a full-time position is 34 hours and 20 minutes per week.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract to be requested is Work in the home with elderly and people with disabilities. Background checks may be conducted before employment.

From July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title.

Therefore, when employed as a nursing assistant, you must present proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant. Please apply now if you do not already have it.
