We are looking for a kitchen assistant with a passion for doing that little extra for our students in our adapted primary school, so they receive a meal based on our pedagogical concept, Matgården (The Food Farm)! You will become an important part of preparing and serving lunches to our students and contributing knowledge about good and healthy eating habits. You will receive training and support in our food concept to develop the pedagogical meal, which is an important part of ensuring our students feel well.
Responsibilities
- Common kitchen tasks such as lunch service and snack preparation
- Follow the Matgården concept and instructions according to weekly menus for main components and carbohydrates
- Responsible for the self-control program, including cleaning, dishwashing, and maintenance of food premises
- Purchasing and budget responsibility
- Ensure students' special dietary needs are met
- Prepare and serve the school's lunch and snacks
- Stay up to date by participating in offered courses and training
Qualifications
- Kitchen assistant education or long experience from working in a kitchen
- Good communication skills
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken
- Very good computer skills, including iPad and smartphone proficiency
- Training in self-control (HACCP)

The role requires you to be independent and structured, with the ability to organize, take responsibility for, and prioritize your tasks effectively. Have a positive attitude and approach towards students, guardians, and colleagues. You are engaged, have good teamwork skills, enjoy working in a team, are creative, and spread good vibes. Dibber was established in Sweden in 2017 and currently operates preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, and open preschools. Dibber's headquarters are located in Sollentuna, with operations in large parts of Sweden.
Dibber in Sweden is part of the Norwegian independent school group Dibber, which was started and is owned by two engaged educators, Randi and Hans Jacob Sundby. The first preschool was started in 2003 in the small town where Randi grew up. Today, Dibber runs more than 600 preschools in nine countries around the world.
