The Health and Medical Care Administration brings together primary care, dental care, and hospital care into a unified administration, organized into county and local healthcare areas. The Skellefteå local healthcare area includes the Emergency Department, the Medical and Geriatric Clinic, the Rehabilitation Centre, the Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, the Centre for Surgical Services, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these units work to provide good and accessible care.
Primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö consists of 12 health centres distributed across three base units. We are now looking for a Medical Director (MLA) who wishes to focus on overarching medical leadership issues for primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö, together with all dedicated staff in our operations. You collaborate with colleagues in both primary care and hospital care.
Your responsibilities as MLA include the strategic development of working methods and routines. You support department managers in developing competence development plans for district physicians and assist in planning overarching training based on the needs of primary care.
