Job Responsibilities

When working as an assistant in elderly care during the summer, we offer you a meaningful and varied job in residential care homes, home care services, or short-term care facilities. You will primarily work with service tasks and social activities with the goal of offering good and safe care and creating a meaningful everyday life for the user. The job also includes documenting important events according to current routines.

You will become part of a competent team consisting of assistants, care assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

Residential Care Homes

As an assistant in one of our residential care homes, you work closely with the residents throughout your shift and support them in their daily routines by providing care and support to our users. The individual's needs determine the extent of service and care. Among other things, you perform services, care, and support measures, as well as carry out planned activities based on each individual's specific needs. Together, you work to create a good environment for the individual.

Home Care Services

As an assistant, your role is to provide support to meet each user's individual wishes and needs in everyday life. You work with service measures that make everyday life easier for the individual based on the individual's implementation plan, with the goal of creating a meaningful everyday life for the user. You travel by bicycle or car between users.

We actively work with the career path model for elderly care, where there are great development opportunities through further education within the profession.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Have good computer skills
• Are available to work for at least 6 consecutive weeks during the summer, preferably longer
• Have a B-class driver's license (required for home care services)

It is meritorious if you:

• Have previous experience working in care and support
