We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant (vårdbiträde) or auxiliary nurse (undersköterska) and want to work night shifts during the summer in elderly care in Alingsås. You can choose to work nights at one of our residential care homes or in the night patrol within home care services.

Job Responsibilities

You can choose to work nights at one of our residential care homes or in the night patrol within home care services.

Work nights at a residential care home

As an auxiliary nurse or nursing assistant at our residential care homes, you are responsible for safety, care, and support during the night. You work with care measures and have delegation for health and medical care measures, supervision, and alarm handling.

Work in night patrol, home care

As an auxiliary nurse or nursing assistant in the night patrol, you visit our users in their own homes during the night. You are responsible for supervision, support when needed, care measures, and handling incoming alarms. You have delegation for health and medical care measures. The work is independent but always with the support of the team and routines that ensure high quality and safety for the users.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are trained as an auxiliary nurse with a protected professional title (1,500 upper secondary school credits or upper secondary school diploma), or trained as a nursing assistant (800 upper secondary school credits)
• Have previous experience in elderly care or equivalent operations
• For the night patrol, a driver's license is required

You are calm, confident in yourself, and have an easy time communicating in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You are independent and take responsibility for your tasks, while collaborating with colleagues to ensure high quality and safety for the residents. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
