About Viksjöskolan

Viksjöskolan is a municipal school for grades 7-9 with approximately 670 students. Our school has good resources, including special needs educators, social pedagogues, school psychologists, counselors, school nurses, study and career counselors, and IT technicians.

As a new employee at Viksjöskolan, you will have a mentor during your first school year. You will also have many colleagues who collaborate and challenge each other. Additionally, you will receive ongoing professional development throughout the year.

Viksjöskolan has its own kitchen preparing meals that are appreciated by both students and staff. We serve three dishes daily, along with plenty of various vegetables and often freshly baked bread.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a substitute teacher for Swedish in grades 7-9. The position also includes being a class mentor together with a co-mentor. The position is a substitute role at 80% during the autumn term.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have good leadership skills, are easy to collaborate with, and have a good ability to build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You also believe it is important to develop together with others. You must have good knowledge of Swedish and hold a Swedish teaching license in the subject of Swedish. If you also have qualifications in Swedish as a second language, it is an advantage.
