About Praktiska Gymnasiet

Praktiska Gymnasiet is the largest provider of upper secondary vocational education in Sweden. We know that a good vocational education leads to jobs directly after graduation, giving our young people a chance to establish themselves in society early on. In our teaching, we mix theory with a lot of practice and work to give our students the best school experience of their lives. Our keywords are ambition, strength, and passion. Our values permeate the entire organization, regardless of your role.

AMBITION means that we have high expectations of each other and our students, but also that we should provide our students with the best education and act professionally and clearly.

Through STRENGTH, we collaborate together around each student. Our goal is to give the new generation of workers, our students, the opportunity to help change their industries regarding inclusion, diversity, gender equality, and sustainability.

PASSION symbolizes the commitment we have for each student but also for the employer's situation. It also symbolizes our pride in our operations and our important role as part of vocational education in Sweden.

A vocational education opens up opportunities to create one's own life, which develops society as a whole. We want to contribute to creating social benefit in this way, for young people who have their sights set on a specific profession, but also for young people who do not yet have a clear plan. Our role is to show the way by inspiring and training the workforce of the future. This is something that both society and our students benefit from.
