The role offers great freedom under responsibility, with flexibility between office work and customer visits. We prefer that you are based in Gothenburg or Stockholm, as the team is distributed across these locations.
The compensation model includes both a base salary and performance-based incentives, measured against various goals related to business development and customer relations. This is a direct recruitment, and you will be employed directly by Canon Medical Systems Sweden upon completion of the recruitment process.
Role Responsibilities
You will be responsible for presenting Canon's products to customers in the gynecology and obstetrics segment. The role involves involvement in the entire business process – from initial contact to long-term collaboration. Your tasks include mapping out clinics and decision-makers, demonstrating our ultrasound systems in clinical settings, participating in tenders, and providing application and user training for new and existing customers.
The work is varied and field-based, with a high degree of independence. At the same time, you are part of a positive and cohesive team where you collaborate closely, support each other, and share knowledge across competency boundaries. To give you the best possible conditions for this role, we offer internal training and mentoring in gynecological ultrasound, in close collaboration with the team.
Who We Are Looking For
It is highly advantageous if you are a midwife with ultrasound experience. You may also have a background such as Biomedical Laboratory Scientist (BMLS) in clinical physiology or Sonographer.
Regardless of your professional title, we are looking for you who have practical experience with ultrasound and a clear interest in working with a gynecological focus. Previous experience in gyn/obstetrics is advantageous but not a requirement – we ensure you have the opportunity to develop in this area through structured internal training and peer learning.
You have a secure clinical foundation and thrive in a role that is more customer-oriented, varied, and independent than the traditional clinical routine. You are receptive, pedagogical, and have an easy time building trust with both users and decision-makers. A driver's license is required, as well as good knowledge of Swedish and English.
