We are currently looking for a Junior Mechanical Designer/Engineer to join an international technology-driven company focused on innovative solutions within the food industry. In this role, you will become part of a team working on the development and improvement of advanced technical products. You will support both development projects and operations related to customized solutions, while having the opportunity to develop your technical skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

As a Junior Mechanical Designer/Engineer, you will work with mechanical design for both development projects and customer orders. You will be responsible for creating and updating 3D models and 2D drawings in CREO, ensuring that designs comply with current standards and requirements. The role also involves working with simulations, managing master data and product structures in Windchill, as well as developing new design concepts through preliminary studies and conducting design reviews.

You will update and maintain technical documentation throughout the entire product lifecycle and collaborate with R&D, production, and procurement functions to solve design-related challenges and contribute to effective solutions.

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or a related field.

• Experience in mechanical design.

• Good proficiency in CREO CAD.

• Experience with Windchill PDM.

• Ability to create and update 3D models and 2D drawings.

• Experience with technical documentation.

• Very good command of English, both spoken and written.

• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

• Experience with tolerance analysis.

• Familiarity with FMEA or other risk analysis tools in design.

• Basic knowledge of fluid mechanics.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical strength analysis.

• Experience with AutoCAD Inventor.

• Location: Lund.

• Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

• Contract period: 2026-09-01 to 2027-03-31, with possibility of extension.

• On-site work.
