Job Responsibilities

Our job is about starting from the individual's needs and wishes and providing a secure and meaningful everyday life. This means providing care, support, and service to our users. This can include helping with meals and light cleaning, but also involves supporting with nursing care, hygiene situations, showering, and body care. In some operations, you will also help with walks, exercise, and leisure activities. Furthermore, everyday conversations are important and highly appreciated.

You will receive a thorough introduction with a supervisor and training necessary to document, administer medication, and assist with transfers using various aids.

Below you can read about our three different operations. In your application, you will be able to state where you would like to work. However, there is currently the greatest need within home care.

Home Care

We help and provide support in the home or equivalent so that the user can continue to live at home. We meet people of different ages and with different support needs. We travel to homes by bicycle and car depending on where the user lives.

Functional Support

We provide support to people with both mental and physical functional variations, at all ages. We have a short-term residence for children and young people, housing with special service where our users live in their own apartments, and personal assistance, which means we support users in their homes.

Special Housing for the Elderly

We are here for the elderly who need care and support around the clock. Our residences have two focuses: dementia care and nursing care with a somatic focus (physical impairments due to aging or illness).

Qualifications

The most important thing is that you have a good attitude towards people and want to learn the job. You also need to be good at cooperating, communicating, and have a positive attitude. Education in care and support or child and youth activities is valuable for the job but not a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Furthermore, you must be 18 years old when applying, be proficient in Swedish in speech and writing, and have basic computer skills. In some of our operations, you need to drive a car or bicycle for work.

Our operations are open around the clock, seven days a week. As a summer worker with us, you will work either days and evenings or nights.

• Working Hours: Schedule. As a summer worker with us, you will work either days and evenings or nights.
