Do you want meaningful work where you truly make a difference, while still being able to head home in the afternoon with time for family, recovery, and personal interests? Here is your chance to work within municipal primary care in a role that offers daytime hours only!

About the position

With us, you have a unique opportunity to work daytime hours, 07:00–16:00, with weekend duty only every 6th–8th weekend. This provides excellent conditions for work-life balance, a more predictable daily routine, and opportunities for recovery – while you maintain a role where you work long-term and closely with your patients.

Within Örebro Municipality's organization for home health care, we work in people's own home environments and meet patients aged 18 and above. The operations are divided into smaller geographical areas, or alternatively towards the functional support area, which creates good continuity and a thorough knowledge of both patients and the local community.

We place safety, quality, and participation at the center and work person-centered, with each individual as the starting point. The work is carried out in team-based forms where different professional groups collaborate and contribute their expertise to create safe and cohesive care.

As a nurse with us, you have an independent and qualified assignment where your competence is truly utilized. In the role of permanent care contact, you have the opportunity for continuity and deepened patient relationships, and you are an important part of creating safety and quality in the patients' daily lives. There is also room to influence and develop working methods and routines in an operation that actively invests in quality and continuous improvement. Welcome to become part of an operation that combines meaningful care with a sustainable daytime work life.

Examples of tasks:

  • plan, implement, and evaluate health care interventions
  • make medical assessments
  • supervise, instruct, and delegate to nursing staff
  • participate in team meetings and care planning
  • serve as permanent care contact for a number of patients and be an important support for relatives
  • be responsible for medication management
  • document in the operational system

About the workplace

The home health care area is divided into five geographical areas, and these services are directed towards the areas of South East, West, North West, North East, as well as towards the health care unit.
