Job Description

We are now looking for an employee for our two facilities within hazardous waste and electronics recycling. Depending on volumes and variations, both our facilities, Sävenäs and Rödingen, may be considered as the workplace.

You will be offered a varied job at a workplace characterized by good atmosphere and good collaboration with colleagues. The tasks include handling hazardous waste and sorting electronics and batteries at our two locations. You will also contribute to the development of our facilities' operations through active improvement work.

The operations are part of the Business Area Recycling and Environment and consist of site managers, team leaders, technicians, and chemists. As a technician, you contribute to ensuring that the operations perform work according to agreements with business customers.

Responsibilities:

The work shall be performed according to the facility's permits, operating procedures, goals, and other governing documents, including among other things:

• Sorting, control, and dismantling of waste.
• Administrative work such as registering data with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and upon receipt of waste.
• Providing service and information to customers.
• Work with lot washing.
• Performing maintenance and cleaning of all surfaces at and in connection with the facilities, as well as minor maintenance work.
• Operating forklifts and wheel loaders within the facilities, both indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

• Upper secondary education or equivalent.
• Basic IT skills.
• Category B driver's license is required.
• Forklift and wheel loader licenses are meritorious.
• Material knowledge/ADR training is meritorious.

You have the ability to work both independently and in a team, are problem-solving oriented, meticulous, and have a customer- and service-oriented approach. You must be able to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Since the work involves some physical labor, you need to be in good physical shape. You have an interest in environmental issues and uphold and work according to the customer's values: Holistic Perspective, Engagement, Togetherness, and Responsibility.
