The Lindholmen Upper Secondary School Area comprises Lindholmen Technical High School, Polhem High School, Bräcke High School, Ester Mosesson High School, and the Center for Language Introduction.

Our service organization is responsible for properties, school meals, cleaning, inventory, and caretaking. We are now looking for a Service Technician primarily based at Lindholmen Technical High School, a high-tech school with approximately 1,000 students and 130 employees. Here you will work in an inspiring environment with new premises and modern equipment. Part of the role will also be located at the Center for Language Introduction, a smaller school unit with approximately 250 students and 40 employees.

As a Service Technician, you are a key person in the school's daily operations. Together with other service technicians, you are responsible for ensuring that our premises and equipment are safe and functional. Your work is crucial in creating a good and secure study and work environment for our students and staff.

The position is based at Lindholmen Technical High School and the Center for Language Introduction, but work may also occur at other schools within the Lindholmen Upper Secondary School Area.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring that technical equipment such as projectors, printers, and copiers functions correctly.
• Serving as the facility operator for fire alarms.
• Being part of the school's fire safety organization and actively driving and maintaining the Systematic Fire Safety Work (SBA).
• Administering service cases and coordinating external actors on behalf of our property owners, the City Property Administration and Älvstranden Development AB.
• Conducting operational rounds and working with preventive measures and minor repairs in the buildings.
• Handling mail and packages as well as internal distribution.
• Logistics issues including moving materials/furniture, preparing school environments, etc.
• Shared responsibility for correct waste management, handling and removal of waste, and active work to optimize the school's recycling.
• Other common tasks for a caretaking role.

You will work closely with a team of approximately 12 colleagues in cleaning and caretaking, as well as an on-site manager. Together, you will create a secure, solution-oriented, and professional service flow for the school's staff and students.

Qualifications

The most important qualities for this position are a strong interest in facility issues and technology, a willingness to work together with others, and showing care for our customers. You enjoy repairing and maintaining everything that can be found in our premises. To do this, you need to be a natural problem solver.

We are looking for someone who is both technically competent and service-oriented, with a strong commitment to creating a functional school environment. You have a high degree of self-motivation, but are also a team player with good collaboration skills.

We see that you have:

• Post-secondary education in facility services, technology, or similar (or equivalent experience).
• Previous experience working with facility-related issues and AV technology.
• Experience working in case management systems.
• Experience with lock and alarm systems (ARX) as well as systematic fire safety work (SBA).
• Very good computer literacy and ability to work in various systems, as the role requires some administration.
• Ability to communicate clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• The work is varied and practical, which requires good physical fitness and mobility. You must be able to handle heavy lifting and varying physical challenges involved in daily service.
• Valid B-driver's license.
