Within the Infrastructure Unit at Entreprenad, we run both projects for Nässjö Municipality and internal assignments within Nässjö Affärsverk AB. The unit is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's water/sewage and district heating networks.

To strengthen quality and ensure efficient execution of our assignments, we are now looking for a District Heating Service Technician for our Infrastructure Unit within Entreprenad.

Job Responsibilities

As a service technician at NAV Entreprenad, you primarily work with the operation, service, and maintenance of district heating plants at our customers' sites, playing a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and well-functioning heating systems. In addition to service assignments, you will work together with the district heating operations manager on the operation of the municipality's district heating pipeline network.

The work involves a high degree of independence, varied tasks, and many customer contacts. You collaborate closely with the district heating operations manager and other colleagues within energy, water/sewage, and infrastructure.

The position includes:

• Performing operation, service, and maintenance of district heating plants at customer sites.
• Troubleshooting, adjusting, and optimizing heating systems.
• Replacing and installing components such as pumps, valves, and control equipment.
• Installing and replacing heat meters according to Energy Companies' authorization rules.
• Checking, documenting, and following up on meter readings and functions.
• Conducting service visits, inspections, and follow-up checks.
• Independently booking and planning customer visits for service and fault resolution.
• Maintaining ongoing customer contact and providing technical advice.
• Reporting and documenting work in digital systems.
• Participating in the operation of the district heating pipeline network together with the operations manager.
• Limited site leadership in smaller infrastructure projects within district heating.

On-call duty may be included.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have a high school education with a technical focus or other relevant education/experience.
• Have at least a few years of experience working with plumbing/HVAC or similar areas.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

Advantageous experiences and education:

• Education within plumbing/HVAC or energy.
• Certified meter installer.
• Electrical competence.
• Experience with district heating.
• Experience with energy banks or similar systems.

You are communicative, have a high sense of service, and are confident in contact with customers and contractors. You work in a structured manner, are self-reliant, and take responsibility. A B-class driver's license is required.

We are working increasingly digitally with tools for mobile, tablet, and computer – therefore, it is an advantage if you are comfortable with technology in everyday life.

Terms of Employment

The position begins with a six-month probationary period.
