About the Company

International Aluminium Casting is a contract manufacturing foundry group that has built up solid competence in die casting and pressure casting through extensive experience. We work with everything from castings to finished products, including machining, surface treatment, and assembly. The company was founded in 1922, initially focusing on die casting. As early as 1948, the first pressure casting machine was installed. Our vision is to become the leading foundry group in Sweden within pressure casting. Today, we have several factories supplying customers worldwide with our high-quality products, and IAC in Hultsfred is one of them.

Your Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer at IAC, you will enjoy an exciting and varied daily routine where you will develop and ensure quality throughout our entire production chain. Together with colleagues in quality, production, HR, and management, you will work both operationally and strategically to ensure we meet established requirements. You will contribute to a safe working environment, more efficient processes, and reduced cost of poor quality – in short: you make a real difference!

Your role includes among other things:

• Quality and Improvement Work – Drive efforts to reduce cost of poor quality, register, follow up, and rectify deviations, as well as work with quality documentation such as PPAP, MSA, and other customer requirements.
• Customer Contact and Complaints – Handle customer complaints, drive root cause analyses, and coordinate corrective actions while driving preventive measures.
• Analyses and Measurements – Perform measurements and ensure products maintain the correct quality, as well as conduct analyses and participate in problem-solving according to 8D.
• Audits and Management Systems – Conduct internal audits, provide support during external inspections, and ensure the management system is updated and complied with according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and VDA.
• Training and Communication – Ensure that changes in working methods are communicated and implemented, and contribute to competence development within quality and environment.

We have 110 employees in total at IAC in Hultsfred, and you will report to the Head of Quality, Technology & Environment.

Your Profile

This is an exciting opportunity for you who have experience from the manufacturing industry, preferably within Automotive. We expect you to have an interest in technology combined with commitment and attention to detail. You are confident in reading drawings and have an understanding of technical specifications and processes. You have good computer skills and the ability to work structured with documentation. To be successful in the role, basic knowledge or interest in quality tools such as 8D, PPAP, and MSA is required. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
