Adult Education in Upplands-Bro offers Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), basic and upper secondary levels, vocational training, and university college programs. The municipality's own adult education school is centrally located in Kungsängen.

Job Description

The role of a teacher in SFI involves teaching during day and evening hours, as well as potentially remote teaching. Our instruction primarily takes place in classrooms, but we are actively developing significant digital components. You will join a team of competent colleagues with a strong focus on language instruction.

All work is guided by the school unit's vision with the keywords Safety, Learning, and Future, and the municipality's organizational philosophy: Holistic View, Engagement, and Professionalism. The school conducts education characterized by clear goals and high expectations for students.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified teacher and/or has experience teaching Swedish as a second language at the SFI level.
• Is proficient with computers, as instruction is conducted using a combination of analog and digital learning materials.

About the Position

The position is a fixed-term employment on a full- or part-time basis during the autumn, with a possible extension. Start date is August 3rd or as agreed.
